How to book my Holiday 2 Remember?

Once you have selected a self catering holiday home that you are interested in, please telephone us on 01825 791055 or complete our on-line enquiry form. We will then be able to confirm availability, provisionally book the property for you and send you our Conditions of Booking and a Booking Form to complete.

We will then hold the property for you for seven days, allowing you time to complete the Booking Form and return it to us along with the 40% deposit. Bookings made within 8 weeks of commencement of your holiday, must be paid in full.

Once we have received your Booking Form, we will check the details are correct and confirm your holiday arrangements.

The full balance will be payable 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.

When does my holiday start?

The bookings for properties start and finish on various days and times of the week – please refer to your holiday property details for this information. Mid-week bookings and short breaks can be arranged in the low season.

Do I need to clean my holiday property?

All the properties are thoroughly cleaned between holidays. However, because there is a limited amount of time available to clean properties before the next holidaymakers arrive, we ask you to leave them clean and tidy and by the time specified on your Booking Confirmation.

How do I receive the keys?

Two weeks before your holiday, we will send you detailed directions to your holiday home and ferry tickets (if booked by Holidays 2 Remember). Keys to properties are either sent by post or arrangements are made for you to receive them from the owner when you arrive.

Do the properties have telephones?

No - please bring along a mobile phone.

Do I need to bring bed linen?

At all the properties, bed linen is provided and beds will be made up before your arrival. Please bring your own linen and bed covers for the cot.

Do I need to bring towels?

Towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are welcome at some of our holiday homes by arrangement. Please bring your pet's own bedding. Pets should not be allowed on the furniture or be allowed to foul the property or garden or be left unattended in properties. A charge is made of £25.00 per pet per week. Please enter your pet’s details on the Booking Form.

Are there any other costs involved?

Yes, there is a £200 security deposit. The security deposit is fully refundable and are returned to you within 14 working days after the end of your holiday providing no loss or damage has occurred, no exceptional amount of cleaning is required and everything is in order. Please refer to our Conditions of Booking.

Will a cot and/or highchair be available?

Most of our properties have a cot and highchair for visitors with young families, however, if your chosen property does not or you require an additional cot and/or highchair, please do inform us at the time of booking your holiday.

Does my holiday property have an ETC rating?

All of our properties are graded or are awaiting grading under the English Tourism Council’s Star Scheme. This shows that they are officially recognised as meeting national standards of quality. The number of stars awarded, indicate the quality of the furnishings, comfort, space and facilities. Details of the ETC’s Star Scheme are available upon request.

Can Holidays 2 Remember help with travel arrangements to and from the Isle of Wight?

We certainly can! If you wish us to book your return ferry crossings from Lymington, Southampton or Portsmouth, please detail your requirements on the Booking Form and we will confirm details with your Booking Confirmation.
